The UEB (European University of Brittany) is made up of 9 research and higher education establishments created by decree in March 2007, and has 21 members: The 4 Breton universities, 5 schools and 12 associated members. The UEB is a major player in research with over 70,000 students including 2,700 doctoral students. There are 13,000 R&D jobs in Brittany (Researchers and engineers).
The role of Brittany’s digital campus is to link up the university sites which are spread across the various parts of the region with broadband.
There are 4 professional maritime high schools in Saint Malo, Paimpol, Le Guilvinec and Etel.
