Breton leader in the harvesting, processing and exploitation of marine resources, Agrimer (Plouguerneau) has received the Gold Award in the Functional Ingredient category at the latest In-Cosmetics world fair in Paris for their algae caviar. The treatment consists of cosmetic beads created from algae polysaccharides, with a 95% natural formula which is the result of 3 years of research on pressure resistance during application and on perfecting the gelling strength, the bead size, stabilisation of active ingredients and exfoliating particles. By associating specific modelage movements, the Caviar is a true step forward for professional treatments thanks to the protective residual film and diffusion matrix for active ingredients. Since Agrimer’s creation they have specialised in dehydration of algae, and they now export their products to over 20 countries and develop products in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and food sectors.
