SPACE celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2017!
Despite numerous difficulties in the livestock and agricultural sector in general, SPACE is each year positioned, and this since 30 years, as an unmissable event for all breeders and suppliers of animal exploitations. Thus, the Show offers them the possibility to observe a huge sample of services, equipments, new for the majority of them, with the purpose of increasing farms’ competitivity. This is why, without a doubt, 89% of the exhibitors reckon that the SPACE allow to establish useful commercial contacts.

SPACE, the 2nd largest international fair for animal production professionals, will be held in Rennes on 12-15 September 2017. 10,000 to 15,000 international visitors are expected.
This year’s theme relates to “Robotics serving farmers”, with conferences and round tables devoted to innovation in the agricultural and agri-food sectors or tomorrow’s agricultural trades.
A total of 381 exhibitors from 37 countries will be present, including 141 new and 30% from overseas. The top ten of exhibiting nations: Germany (64 exhibitors), Netherlands (50), Italy (48), Belgium (31), United States (30), Denmark (24), United Kingdom (22), Spain (20), China (15) and Austria (13).
There will also be delegations from Côte d’Ivoire, Gambia, Guinea-Conakry, Burkina Faso, Mali and Togo.
The event will therefore be focused on 4 keywords: “Dynamics, robotics, genetics and Africa”. Robots will be operating so that farmers can explore the changes in their practices. In terms of genetics, the focus will be on two breeds: Charolais and Simmental.
