Lacroix-Sofrel creates an R&D laboratory in Cesson-Sévigné

An expert in remote management interconnected tools, Lacroix-Sofrel (Vern-sur-Seiche, 150 employees, €40M turnover 2016, +5%, 25% export) is basing its growth on innovation and international sales. Already established in some 40 countries, the company is targeting €55M turnover, including 50% exports, by 2020. The company has subsidiaries in Spain and Italy and has recently opened an office in Singapore to expand the booming Asian market.

The company works mainly for water network managers but also for energy and heat networks, amongst others. These areas are being turned upside down by the IoT, data management and digitisation. The company has invested €10M in five years in its Sofrel S4W solution for remote network monitoring and protection of sites against cyberattacks. Despite already setting aside a major part of activities for R&D, the company is opening a laboratory called Lacroix Lab at Cesson-Sévigné which will operate for all Lacroix group activities, including those of Lacroix-Sofrel.
