Lannion, Nokia global centre of excellence for cybersecurity

Early in 2017, the Alcatel-Lucent site in Lannion, now belonging to Nokia, took possession of its new premises. This innovation campus (835 employees) has mobilised €30M investment and comprises three new buildings of 9,000 m2. It is described as more modern and encouraging collaborative work in an environment that lends itself to the ambitions set out by its Director, A. Laforge. Having already been working on the 4G, the teams are now working on developing the 5G and have joined forces at B-com on joint innovations around 5G roll-out and security. Lannion will also be the Nokia global centre of excellence for cybersecurity.
