One Wave is going to raise €1.4 million

One Wave (Rennes) is about to finalise funds of €1.4M to launch the prototype of its contactless universal chip card, an alternative to payment, travel or loyalty cards. It is used via a smartphone app and has a biometric sensor to secure the identification of its user. Its founder, T. Lechevallier, is supported by Télécom Bretagne, Rennes Atalante and several bankers. It is already planning to raise a further €3.5M in 2018 so that it can move onto the industrialisation and commercialisation phase.
