A spin-off of 3Dfovéa, the joint laboratory of Telecom Bretagne and the University Hospital of Brest, Orthoptica (Brest) has developed Binoculus, a medical device for orthoptists. It allows the collection of information on binocular vision to be carried out more accurately, faster and allows for multiple tests (visual acuity, stereo-acuity, digital synoptophore…) and automatically generates a form with patient outcomes. 15 devices are already operational in France and the start-up is aiming towards England and Sweden.
