PRP Technologies seeks to boost sustainable agriculture

Produce more and better.

This is the challenge taken up by PRP Technologies (Bréhan, €23.6M turnover in 2015) by offering farmers biostimulants, a sort of natural vitamins for plants and all manufactured in Bréhan. Two of its products have recently been approved by Anses (National Agency for Food Safety).

This approval above all demonstrates the effectiveness and quality of its products, rather like a label, as PRP does not need authorisation to market its products.  PRP was one of the first to believe in biostimulants 45 years ago and now the largest manufacturers are taking a close interest in it. Reconciling agricultural productivity and environmental protection is indeed becoming a major challenge for farmers. And yet, biostimulants have been proven to be both technically and economically relevant: it is possible to produce more and better.

The company generates half its turnover through exports to Poland, Slovenia, Germany and the Czech Republic.
