Thales is thinking twice as big

The critical information and cybersecurity business of the French giant Thales (64,000 employees, €14.9 million turnover 2016, €1billion cybersecurity turnover) has moved to a new site in Rennes (107 employees) that is twice as large as the previous one. About 40 people will be hired. L. Maury, the Thales VP responsible for these sensitive activities, works with both SME and major groups and CAC 40 companies in all sectors like defence, SNCF and Veolia as well as its own manufacturing sites. He is mindful that the smaller the companies, the more vulnerable they are.
