Two years after submitting its bid, the Bolloré group has won the call for tenders by Singapore to set up a car-sharing service. It outbid thirteen other international players.
One thousand electric vehicles will therefore go into service from 2017 onwards, with two thousand charging terminals spread through five hundred stations. Singapore will thus becoming the largest car-sharing service by Bolloré, behind Paris with 3,500 vehicles.
This solution of the future for cities committed to an energy transition approach has already won over Lyon, Bordeaux, Turin, London and Indianopolis.
This new contract will give Bolloré a showcase in Asia. Bolloré is also going to create an R&D and innovation centre in Singapore which will be open to its partners for creating, testing and implementing all types of technological innovation in mobility, data analysis and electric batteries.
