Under the call for tenders by the Energy Regulation Commission, Langa (La Mézière, 30 employees) has won 31 projects for solar plants for a total of 49.3 MWp. These plants will mainly be located in the Mediterranean, Rhône Alpes and South-West regions. They should provide ~64 GWh/year to the French electricity grid for an estimated investment of €90M. As an independent producer of renewable energy, Langa operates over 130 roof plants and solar fields in France and abroad, i.e. a portfolio of projects greater than 500 MW. The SME is targeting and 80-20 France/international split in turnover by 2020, shared between photovoltaics (50%), wind energy (40%) and bioenergies (10%).
