In April, buyers and managers of the leading Mexican distribution group La Comer travelled to Bretagne, invited by Bretagne Commerce International (BCI), to source products to showcase during the feria de Francia, a promotional week of French products that will take place later in October, across its 62 outlets divided into 4 brands.
The group’s customer base encompasses both ‘high end’ and ‘middle class’ individuals and therefore, it is looking for very diversified products (food industry, baby products, cosmetics, jewellery, home equipment or fashion items).
Buyers of La Comer already came in February to meet businesses in the food industry. Delighted with the first encounter, they decided to return for other products Made in France. In 2 days, they met 18 businesses through BCI, who organised the trip based on the specifications sent ahead of the visit.
In 2017, BCI organised 15 buyer visits with 86 Breton businesses.
