It takes three days to obtain the analysis results for detecting bacteria in a pâté, ham or pastry, and yet they are one of the greatest fears of agri-food industrialists. Microbs (Rennes) offers groundbreaking technology to reduce this time to just one hour for a full analysis result. Manufacturers should be able to reduce their costs from production incidents and limit quarantine stocks, be this in agri-food, catering, cosmetics or pharmacology. The start-up has raised an initial €1M in confirmed funds. The Microbs directors are targeting the global market and are planning a second wave of fund-raising to financing its marketing operations.
