As first responders cannot always communicate with a person in an accident or an emergency when he is alone and has lost consciousness, A. Ouvrans and S. Pédrono have created the NFSave medical bracelet to facilitate their work and the care needed. It is marketed in a few Bretagne pharmacies but should quickly win over healthcare professionals in France.
It can register with the pharmacist a person’s vital data – identity, social security number, blood group, treatments, pathology and allergies – and the person to contact in an emergency. First responders equipment with the NFSave tactical kit can recover the data through simple contact and give initial care whilst sending the information down the entire medical care chain. The emergency services can also recover information about a patient using this solution.
