Huge steps forward for Saveurs cristal since its installation at Le Pertre in April 2014. In two years, the Parisian company, become in the meantime a subsidiary of Primel gastronomie (Sill entreprises), has increased its workforce from thirteen to nearly a hundred employees (45 permanent, 45 fixed contract and a few temporary staff). A specialist in manufacturing frozen cocktail nibbles, the company is now thinking about extending its premises.
The company has found its spot in a highly-competitive market by adopting a more high-end positioning. “We do not operating in a logic of volume. We work with flavours, tastes and textures and attempt to be creative and innovative. We have a few basic products which rotates year on year, but on average 60% of the range is renewed every year. We are a little like fashion designers who showcase a new collection every year”, states the director. Saveurs Cristal products are aimed at a broad range of customers: catering companies, caterers, hotels, distributors and freezer centres.
