A specialist in transmission and distribution equipment for power grids, Sicame (Arnac-Pompadour, 2,500 employees, turnover: €352 M) has bought Seifel (Saint-Malo, 300 employees, turnover: €48 M: 25 to 30% in export) and its Spanish subsidiary Claved (Barcelona). The latter are renowned for their cabinets, electrical cabinets and car charging stations. Owned by the Equistone investment fund since February 2016, Sicame has 52 subsidiaries in 24 countries on 5 continents. Thanks to this operation, Seifel hopes to expand internationally in new activities in the fields of electricity, gas and water distribution networks, as well as telecommunications and renewable energy installations.
