Specialists in premium frozen fine pastries and cocktail snacks for food service, Traiteur de Paris (in Rennes & Paris; 400 employees; 2017 sales: €44 million, +11%, 40% for exports) is investing €12 million over 3 years in its production facilities in La Guerche de Bretagne and Fécamp (in Normandy).
The Breton site will see a €6 million invested to expand and automate its workshops dedicated to the production of individual and miniature pastries. Its production capacity is set to double, from 250,000 to 500,000 items per day. This investment should generate about 40 new jobs.
The company sells its products in 60 countries around the world and wants to manufacture on a large scale by freezing in order to be able to export to the other side of the world. The company has been growing at a double-digit rate every year, thanks in particular to its R&D team, which develops recipes and adapts them to the tastes of different countries.
