Vocal recognition : the American Voicebox acquires Telisma

Until now part of the Indian musical streaming group OnMobile, Telisma (Rennes, Lannion and Paris) has been sold to the American group Voicebox Technologies. Renowned in the vocal recognition sector, Telisma works for a hundred or so customers, including Telefonica, Orange and Vodafone. The company is also involved in the VoiceHome project to develop a sound reception and analysis system for running home automation in natural language, in conjunction with eight partners: Delta Dore, Technicolor, Orange, eSoftThings, Irisa, INRIA Nancy-Grand-Est and LOUSTIC.
